Come join us and make a difference in the community! We make a variety of items: fleece hats/mittens, pediatric pillows, clothing protectors, baby blankets/burp cloths, bandana bibs, Christmas stockings for the troops, quilts, altar linens, walkers bags and clothing protectors for the elderly plus much more! No experience necessary...we need help pressing, cutting, and pinning. We can also teach or refresh sewing skills for those who are interested. We have sewing machines and a variety of donated fabrics. We meet the second Wednesday of each month from 9 am to noon in Wahl Hall.
Come check out one of our meetings and see what this friendly and creative group is all about!
september Meeting RecaP:
We focused our efforts on making decorative tabletop rounds for Mosaic (see picture below). They will be used during Mosaic’s fundraiser luncheon in November to help those in our community with special needs. Our goal was 25 toppers and we were able to complete 37! Thank-you to the 13 members who fueled the assembly-line and also to Patty P. for coordinating/delivering the project to Mosaic! An additional thank-you to our members for their donations to our Fall Festival raffle basket. We likely will be able to donate two raffle baskets because of your generous support! Well done everyone!
