Come join us and make a difference in the community! We make a variety of items: fleece hats/mittens, pediatric pillows, clothing protectors, baby blankets/burp cloths, bandana bibs, Christmas stockings for the troops, quilts, altar linens, walkers bags and clothing protectors for the elderly plus much more! No experience necessary...we need help pressing, cutting, and pinning. We can also teach or refresh sewing skills for those who are interested. We have sewing machines and a variety of donated fabrics. We meet the second Wednesday of each month from 9 am to noon in Wahl Hall.
Come check out one of our meetings and see what this friendly and creative group is all about!
May Meeting RecaP:
Our group focused on making clothing protectors for Tanzania. If anyone is interested in making this simple project at home, we have a pattern and fabric available. The protectors seem to be very popular with our area nursing homes as well and are always appreciated. See below dates for next meetings…hope to see you soon!
