CONFIRMATION 

The Sacrament of Confirmation is the Sacrament in the Catholic Church by which “the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed”(CCC 1285).

In order to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation worthily, you must be in a state of grace and know well the chief truths of our religion. Though every Sacrament is a gift from God, we must do our part to receive it in the proper disposition.

Chosen: Your Journey Toward Confirmation workbook will be used for this two-year program. The first year students (typically 7^th grade) will finish Lessons 1-12 of 24. The second year students (typically 8^th grade) will finish Lessons 13-24 of 24 to complete the two-year program. Classes for both years will be held twice a month on the first Saturday at 3 pm and the third Sunday at 10:30 am of each month. 

Students and families are also required to attend the F.I.R.E. Program on the first Saturday of every month, starting with 4:30 mass.

The Confirmation Sponsor Form must be filled out by the Church where your sponsor currently attends.
