SEWING MINISTRY
Come join us and make a difference in the community! We make a variety of items: fleece hats/mittens, pediatric pillows, clothing protectors, baby blankets/burp cloths, bandana bibs, Christmas stockings for the troops, quilts, altar linens, walkers bags, and clothing protectors for the elderly, plus much more! No experience is necessary…we need help pressing, cutting, and pinning. We can also teach or refresh sewing skills for those who are interested. We have sewing machines and a variety of donated fabrics.

Baby Showers and Fidget Quilts:
Thanks to everyone who rolled up their sleeves in August to help reorganize our storage area — it looks great! We also directed our efforts to supporting the parish respect life baby shower in September. Additionally, Patty is also coordinating to have baby items delivered to Sr. Stephanie at Our Lady of Angels in Chicago. Our September meeting was dedicated to fidget quilts for those in memory care facilities. We made several quilts at the meeting and more were taken home for completion. Thanks to our talented seamstresses for their steadfast devotion to our vital community outreach! Hope to see everyone at one of our monthly meetings!
