SEWING MINISTRY
Come join us and make a difference in the community! We make a variety of items: fleece hats/mittens, pediatric pillows, clothing protectors, baby blankets/burp cloths, bandana bibs, Christmas stockings for the troops, quilts, altar linens, walkers bags, and clothing protectors for the elderly, plus much more! No experience is necessary…we need help pressing, cutting, and pinning. We can also teach or refresh sewing skills for those who are interested. We have sewing machines and a variety of donated fabrics.

June and July Happenings:
Our June meeting focused on making covers for pillow forms while July’s was dedicated to Christmas stockings. Thanks to our members that attended the meetings and also those who continue to send in completed projects from home! As you can see from the picture to the left, we are blessed every month to have a table-full of needed items to pass along to community! A special thanks to Sharon for her donation of her beautiful quilt (also pictured left)! Not only is she a very talented quilter, but she also dedicates her time to keep meticulous track of all our completed items and delivery status. Thanks Sharon!!
